A bill to create a tax credit for the out-of-pocket costs associated with infertility medical treatment has been introduced in the U.S. Senate by Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (NY).  Aptly named the Family Act of 2011, S 965, this bill will potentially help thousands of people seek medical treatment that otherwise would be out of reach for them.

A couple of weeks ago our office went through an audit of sorts by one of the insurance companies we're contracted with.  These are usually a bit unnerving as they inspect our office to make sure we meet all safety and ADA codes and that we're following all the regulations. We've never had a problem so I'm not sure why it creates a bit of anxiety.
