Insurance and Payment

Do you accept my insurance?

We are currently contracted with the following insurance companies:

Every plan has different deductible and co-payment amounts. You will be responsible for these at the time of your visit.

 

If you have insurance outside of those listed above, you may have out-of-network benefits. Payment is due in full at the time of your appointment, and we can file claims on your behalf as a courtesy. Your insurer will reimburse you directly based on their fee schedule, and any coverage questions or disputes are your responsibility.

Will I have to have a mental health diagnosis?

It depends on a few things. In order to file a claim with your insurance our office will be required to assign a mental health diagnosis that fits the symptoms for which you are seeking treatment. This will become a part of your permanent health record. Your diagnosis will be discussed with you to ensure your comfort with the claims filing process.

For complete confidentiality some clients opt not to use their insurance to avoid having a mental health diagnosis on their health record. We honor our client's preferences and respect their rights to privacy. You can discuss your questions or concerns about this during your free phone consultation.
